Land’s End backpack giveaway
One of the blogs I read is giving away a backpack from Land’s End. I keep hearing about Land’s End but their stuff is a bit too expensive for me!
Anyway, for the contest I have to post a memory of back-to-school. Mine isn’t the happiest, but it is the one that comes most readily when thinking of back-to-school. One year, I was decked out in my “fancy” new clothes, and for the first time ever I also had a perm. I was walking to school, and two kids passed me going in the other direction. I overheard one of them say to the other, “Wow, she’s ugly!” I don’t think I really was, but at the time it was devastating. I haven’t had a perm since, either :-D
